You are all invited to participate in this year’s Wetherill Mesa Bike and Hike at Mesa Verde National Park! The fall is a special time of year to visit, as the more relaxing fall season replaces the busy days of summer. The Wetherill Tram is not running, so you are invited to ride your bike on the tram road and hike to Long House and Step House cliff dwellings. Rangers are available to answer your questions. Wetherill Mesa will be open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm both days at Mesa Verde National Park.

Ignacio Bike Week and the Four Corners Biker Rally have joined together to bring you a bigger and better rally, The Four Corners Motorcycle Rally! THis rally happens all over the four Corners throughout Labor Day weekend. The Million Dollar Highway through Durango is voted one of the top 4 motorcycle rides in the country.
Durango Harley-Davidson features the Harley demo fleet. There will also be a beer tent with live music and food during the day Friday-Sunday.
Motorcycle enthusiasts participate in events which take place throughout the region: Sky Ute Casino, Durango, Cortez, Silverton, Ignacio and all points in between!

The annual Durango Railfest event showcases western-style cowboy events such as the World Fast Draw Association shoot-out and competition, Native American Dancers and Heritage Train with the Southern Ute Tribe from Ignacio, in addition to special events and train rides throughout the weekend. All events pay tribute to Durango's railroading legacy.
This fun and entertaining Vaudeville show is appropriate for all ages! Great for families! Doors open at 7:15 and show starts promptly at 7:45pm. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to showtime if you would like to purchase any refreshments from cocktail servers. No shows on Mondays. Runs Tuesday-Sunday evenings. The 16th Annual San Juan Brewfest returns to celebrate all things Beer at the Southwests largest beer tasting festival - all for a great cause as a benefit for United Way of Southwest Colorado! Approximately 50 breweries from around the region will attend. These brewmasters will be coming from far and wide to show off their most popular beers as well as introduce you to some of their newest creations with over 100+ beers to try.
The Brewfest also features live music, as well as General Admission and VIP Admission Options. All guests get access to the event, a souvenir 5 oz tasting glass, unlimited tastings, and our live entertainment. VIP’s get these extras:
Early entry to the Brewfest at noon instead of 1 pm for everyone else
Access to the VIP Lounge during the Brewfest with FREE food while it lasts, plus shaded tables and chairs. The VIP Lounge also provides exclusive access to the stage for the bands
Invite to a private party the night before the Brewfest Friday August 22 from 5 to 7 pm at the Animas City Theater with FREE beer and food while it lasts, plus the opportunity to mingle with the brewers.
The festival will take place Saturday August 23rd, 2014 at Buckley Park in downtown Durango on Main Ave between 12th and 13th streets. Gates open at 1 p.m. and close at 5 p.m. and there will be live music, food and, of course, great beer! The cost for the event is $25 which will include a collectors edition beer tasting glass as well as beer tasting for the 4 hours of the event. Supervised kids 12 & under and designated drivers can attend for FREE, and supervised kids ages 13 - 20 are only $10.
